We need to create the services by identifying the critical areas not sufficiently covered by either governmental programs and or local communities that reach out to ensure elderly citizens have and receive critical care. If we can generate a way to solicit areas of a community and understand how the elderly community is underserved we can begin to identify the cost to offer support. We need to be able to solicit the help of others to brand a support method that would carry itself from community to community. During the Great Depression, individuals became even more dependent upon their friends, families, and faith communities to share resourses during this period. So it is the same today. The question I ask is how do we share resourses for those that have either time or money to give to provide for elderly citizens trying to just survive the recent escalation of food, medicine, and living costs.
